Anti Aging Skin Care, Is It Too Late For You?

If you care about your skin, then take care of it.  Yes, what ever your age is you should be taking care of your skin.  The earlier the better but better late than never.  The trick is to get the right products for your skin type and start today.  Tomorrow does not count, sorry.

When the subject of anti aging skin care props up most people start inquiring about types and effectiveness of the drugs, which defy aging of the skin.  The ideal way to address one’s own aging skin issues is to acquire precise information about various anti aging skin care products available in the market and then to take an appropriate recourse best suited to one.

The initial step for anti aging skin care treatment is to gather facts on successful skin care treatments. After clinical trials various drugs have been found helpful in ejuvenation of the skin. Vitamin A derivative retinol or retinyl palmitate is one of them and is considered most useful.   Though irritating and provided only by prescription, Retin A or Renova vitamin A is considered most effective. In case of a serious rejuvenation need, a doctor can advise them. Alternatively, any other retinol drug may be used in the treatment.  However, freely sold retinol drugs have concentration range of up to 1% and the stronger the dose the concentration is further higher. One must remember that stronger retinol drugs can cause irritation to the skin. When undergoing this treatment one should gradually increase the concentration, which will aid the skin to adjust to the treatment and have better results.  Retinyl Palmitate, one of the vitamin A derivatives, is known to be less irritating and is considered very effective in the rejuvenation process.

Chemical exfoliants like an alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) or beta hydroxyl acid (BHA) product are also very effective in anti aging skin care.  The most widely used is an AHA glycolic acid.  While undergoing this treatment, it must be noted that the concentration of Glycolic acid should be between 8 to 15% depending on sensitivity of the skin.  In this case also the concentration should be increased gradually otherwise it may cause irritation.

Also very important is use of an antioxidant, which will not only work as anti-body to free radicals, but will also aid to general rebuilding of the skin. Drugs with Vitamin C Ester, Spin Trap, or CoQ10 are considered good and will be helpful. There are also other effective anti-aging treatments, which can be taken recourse to taking into onsideration the special requirements. These are - DMAE, Kinerase or Kinetin, and GHK Copper Peptides. Last but not the least, sunscreen is one of the most significant elements in skin rejuvenation regime and must be resorted to at least once daily.
